A fashion and beauty blog by an exceptional woman by the name of Jess Janega, Elegantly Dressed and Stylish is actually a reverse-acronym for EDS, which also stands for Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility Syndrome, a chronic pain condition that Jess lives with. She intentionally created a blog with the same initials as her disease because she wanted it to represent a reminder of what she can do today in spite of her disease, and how dressing well and taking care of herself can make her feel better. As for her personal sense of style, she borrows a lot from the 1920s, and mixes modern trendy with classic, timeless styles for a really gorgeous and unique look.
Last September, Jess got the opportunity to try out Vine Vera Cosmetics, and chose to give the Malbec DNA collection a try. This Collection comprises the Resveratrol Malbec DNA Redefying Serum, Resveratrol Malbec DNA Redefying Cream, Resveratrol Malbec DNA Melting Pre-Mask, and Resveratrol Malbec DNA Biology Emulsion. The Malbec DNA collection is specially crafted to make your skin more youthful, hydrated, and fight the longer term effects of aging on the skin. The products in this collection feature an impressive array of ingredients, including but not limited to hyaluronic acid, collagen, and resveratrol.
Jess has been quite pleased with the products so far. She’s been using them for about 4 weeks, using the Malbec DNA Redefying Cream and Malbec DNA Redefying Serum every day. Which she was initially disappointed that the DNA Redefying Cream was a bit heavy-feeling for her taste, she found that when she used it in combination with the Redefying Serum, it went on nice and smooth and light, and that after 4 weeks, she noticed softening in her forehead lines and around her mouth. Her favorite product was the Malbec DNA Midnight Cream, which she’s used every evening for the previous four weeks before she wrote her post. She says this cream goes on nice and light, just like she likes, and very hydrating. She woke up to her skin feeling well nourished and soft in the morning, and was able to take a photo of herself with no filters or makeup and actually felt good about posting it. Talk about a confidence booster!
