Martinis and mascara is a lifestyle, beauty, and fashion blog which also touches heavily on food and drink, written by the award-winning lifestyle blogger Katie McBroom. Katie originally created Martinis and Mascara way back in 2012, with the goal of using it as a platform to express her thoughts on “all things beauty,” as she put it. At that time, the blog was composed of product reviews, beauty news, advice, tutorials, and a variety of original features as well. The blog began its ascension to its current status when Katie ended up as a finalist in Allure Magazine’s 2013 Beauty Blogger Awards. The honor of being a finalist in such a prestigious blogging competition garnered further attention, and she’s been featured in a number of publications since then as a result.
In September, Katie wrote about a recent experience with Vine Vera Cosmetics. She was not new to the brand even then, and already considered herself a longtime fan. This time around, she was checking out Vine Vera’s Zinfandel Collection in particular. This collection comprises the Resveratrol Zinfandel Skin Tone Correcting Serum, Resveratrol Zinfandel Radiance Cream SPF 30, Resveratrol Zinfandel Illuminating Pre-Mask, and Zinfandel Illuminating Petal-Peel System. The Zinfandel collection is specially formulated to correct for uneven skin tone and improve the appearance of dark spots and hyper-pigmentation while delivering intensive moisture and smoothness.
Katie had something good to say about a number of the products in this collection. She felt that the Zinfandel Illuminating Pre-Mask was an ideal way to prepare her skin for the Petal-Peel System. She was also quite satisfied with the Resveratrol Zinfandel Skin Tone Correcting Serum, which she says is not only designed to give your skin a youthful radiance, but that it’s “wonderful” and that it “does what it says it will.” Finally, Katie is completely obsessed with the Zinfandel Illuminating Petal-Peel System, extolling its radiance-enhancing and skin-tone-evening potential.
